This pendant is my way of sharing a little bit of my family story with you...

When my brother was little, my mother has a wrapper called the jumping horse that he loved so much, he called it purshoo-purshoo. I think it had to do with the way the horses looked like they were chasing each other in the repeat pattern. He always wanted my mother to wear the cloth. So, my mother had an outfit made for him with the fabric for his 3rd birthday. The wrapper became so popular in Nigeria in the 80s & 90s & even now that we (my siblings & i) would always say "purshoo-purshoo" anytime we saw someone wearing it. 

The horse is 3 dimensional & cast out of 14k yellow gold. Fully solid piece. The eyes are set with 1.5mm si1 diamonds on both sides. Pendant is very detailed & has a small tapered bail. Pendant only.
